UNION OF NAZARENE YISRAELITE CONGREGATIONS.
WHAT WE FIRMLY BELIEVE:
Updated 3/20/05
Updated Annually
A congregation, synagogue, home group, or home fellowship may join the UNION
OF NAZARENE YISRAELITE CONGREGATIONS, if they adhere to the following general
principles of faith:
- The UONYC holds a firm belief in the deity of Moshiach Yahshua, as the virgin
born Son, having come in the flesh as our Emanuel. That in Him dwells all the
fullness of omnipotence, and that Yahweh and His Moshiach/Savior are both
Yahweh. Colossians 2:9
- The UONYC holds a firm belief in Yahshua’s death, burial, physical
resurrection and subsequent ascension to the right hand of the Father, where He
sits as the High Priest-Kohen HaGadol over Renewed Covenant Yisrael. Psalm
110:1, Luke 24:51.
- The UONYC holds a firm belief in Yahshua as the only brought forth Son
of Yahweh, being the only way to eternal life John 14:6. That only the precious,
set apart blood of the Lamb of Yahweh, Yahshua, can totally remove and remit
one's sins. John 1:29
- The UONYC believes that Moshiach Yahshua taught all His true followers
both Jew and non-Jew that all the precepts of written Torah are eternally
binding. Moshiach Yahshua, never ever negated Torah, and expects and commands us
to follow Torah (Matthew-Mattityahu 5:17-19), so as to continually renew our
love for Him by our obedience. A group found teaching that the "dispensation" of
Torah has passed away or been nailed to the execution stake, will not be
accepted for membership.
- The UONYC holds a firm belief that both Replacement Theology, (where
something man-made called "The Church" replaces the Jews) and Separate Entity
Theology, (where something man-made called "The Church" co-exists as a separate
"Spiritual-Yisrael" entity alongside the people of physical Jewish-Yisrael) are
both unscriptural doctrines and need to be silenced via correct teaching by
those of the single body of Renewed Covenant Yisrael, also known as the eklessia
the congregation of Yahshua. Yisrael can only be defined, as those who are
physical human beings, with a physical connection to Yisrael, along with a
spiritual connection to Yisrael by being born again believers on and in Yahshua
of Nazareth. Ephesians 2:11-19
- The UONYC fully and totally rejects Dual Covenant Theology or Two Door
Theology and considers it heresy and a frequent first step to full apostasy.
Acts 4:12 teaches that there is only one name under the heavens among men
whereby all men might be saved. All Jews live under heaven and cannot therefore
be saved or forgiven or return to covenant, by mere trust in the laws of
Moses-Moshe, for that is a second name, and not the one ordained for the
salvation of all men. Those from Yahudah denying Yahshua as King Moshiach are
not in covenant (Romans 9:6-8). In order for covenant renewal to take place in
the heart of the Jew, and non-Jew, each person must choose individually to make
teshuvah/repentance and express personal trust in Moshiach Yahshua and His blood
to renter the covenant of YHWH with Yisrael. As such, Jewish people are to have
the Good News shared with them at all times, in all ages, by all lawful means
(Romans 1:16) until the return of the Master. A UONYC leader found holding onto
Dual Covenant Theology, will be asked to explain his views to the UONYC Board of
Rabbis, and may be considered ripe for immediate dismissal from the UONYC.
- The UONYC holds a firm belief that Ephraim-Yisrael's recognition of their
identity and restoration with brother Judah-Yahudah is the truth that will
become the salvation of all Yisrael most fully in the millennial reign of
Moshiach (Ezekiel 37:16-28, Romans 11:25-26). That Yahshua's physical return to
earth, will result in the ultimate restoration of the Kingdom to Yisrael, (Acts
1:6) as He takes both "sticks" of Ezekiel 37 and makes them one in Yahweh's hand
on the mountains of Yisrael, as all Yisrael is saved, honoring Yahshua, obeying
Torah and enjoying the restoration of David's Tabernacle which had previously
fallen.
- The UONYC believes that Yahweh is rescuing from the nations and false
religions, a redeemed blood washed remnant by Yahshua’s blood, and rebuilding
Yisrael. Renewed Covenant Yisrael, is defined as Judah-Yahudah and
Ephraim-Yisrael, the two physical houses becoming one again, through our
Moshiach Yahshua. Their companions are the minority non-Yisraelites, who by
Moshiach’s atonement, join the nation of Yisrael, and become Yisrael but not
Jews. We recognize that all Jews are Yisraelites but also that all Yisraelites
are not Jews (10 tribes). The Yisrael of Yahweh, Galatians 6:16, includes all
children of the promise, through Isaac-Yitzchak and Jacob-Yisrael, and those who
join Yisrael. First Peter 2:9, Ezekiel 37:16, Isaiah 56:1-8.
- The UONYC believes that through the two-house restoration, both houses
are having their blinders removed. Judah-Yahudah needs Moshiach and
Ephraim-Yisrael needs Torah and their identity as Yisrael’s other house
restored. Isaiah 8:14
- The UONYC believes that all believers in Moshiach Yahshua are physical
and spiritual Yisrael, regardless of whether they come from Judah-Yahudah,
Ephraim-Yisrael (10 tribes) or have no Yisraelite blood but have joined
Yisrael’s Commonwealth through submission to Yisrael’s King the Moshiach
Yahshua. Thus the eklessia/kahal is Yisrael restored. Ephesians 2:11-19
- The UONYC believes That the so called church does not exist apart from
the historic people of Yisrael, and as such never replaced Jewish-Yisrael as
Yisrael Acts 7:38, Acts 2:1-47. We reject all forms or derivations of
Replacement Theology, Kingdom Now Theology, or Dominion Theology. Jewish-Yisrael’s
major covenants with Yahweh are eternal and unconditional. However the
individual must make teshuvah-repentance through Yahshua, to reclaim the
covenant promises that belong to the nation. Jer. 31:33-34
- The UONYC believes that the only true eternal personal Names of the
Father and the Son are Yahweh-Yahveh and the Son Yahshua or Yahoshua. While the
spelling is not important, the usage is. The UONYC, requires all affiliated
groups and congregations, to call on the true Names on both the local and
national level, deeming it not only pleasing to the Father, but a prerequisite,
without which Yisrael’s two houses cannot be fully restored, in biblical unity.
All conferences, and public statements by local affiliates, should use the Names
in order to fulfill and execute our mission as Yisrael restored. Usage of the
Anglo and non-Hebraic translations of the Names of Moshiach and His Father will
not be allowed at official Union events. Local congregations, who refuse to use
the correct revealed true names, will be asked to leave the Union (Isaiah 56:7,
Malachi 1:11, Malachi 3:16, John 17:11-12). This position is not meant to
exclude anyone but to allow all sincere members, to follow the scriptural
mandate that the Word requires of all returning Yisraelites from both houses.
This solid core position of scripture is a key to the successful implementation
of our nation and cannot and must not be compromised, for the foolish
justification of gaining more numbers.
- The UONYC is not a traditional sacred name affiliation. Those groups are
still based in a church type of environment, (though often meeting on Shabbat)
and do not emphasize or understand 2-house restoration. They tend to pick and
choose what Torah commands are still for today, and don't see themselves as
physical Yisrael. They are generally against the sign gifts of the Ruach, as
well as the 5 fold offices of Ephesians four by denying the apostolic and
prophetic offices for all ages of time. We are a Nazarene Yisraelite, Moshiach
loving, true Name affiliation, recognizing all the offices and all the gifts of
the Ruach HaKodesh. We believe that as all Yisrael restored, we are to seek that
which Moses sought when he prayed to Yahweh, and stated in Numbers 11:29 "Enviest
thou for my sake? I would to Elohim that all Yahweh's people were prophets, and
that Yahweh would put His Ruach upon them."
- The UONYC stands for a willingness to lay aside all strife, division and
slander for the sake of the unity of the brotherhood. To receive instruction,
counsel and direction from The Board Of Rabbis in an attitude of humility, when
necessary. Ephesians 4:12-14
- The UONYC Board of Rabbis is not limited to the role of shepherds,
shepherding shepherds. Rather the Union board functions as an available
apostolic board, giving needed hands on oversight. All those on the board
have shown a strong calling and evidence in apostolic gifts. The Board
of Rabbis will not normally interfere in local congregational affairs,
unless something is so obviously unscriptural, that the issue needs to be
addressed such as the Lunar Shabbat error, or the Kairite feast reckoning
error, denial of Yahshua's deity/divinity, the virgin birth, the necessity
of Yahshua's blood atonement for all men, or a denial of the full and total
inspiration of the Renewed Covenant Scriptures.
- The UONYC will grant ministerial recognition, only to those men and women
who complete our process for recognition as an ordained leader (see the
paragraph on women). Our program consists mainly of basic materials such as
books and tapes that will ground all applicants in the basics of Nazarene
Yisraelite truth, such as the blood atonement of Moshiach, the 2-house
restoration, and the true Names. Only those who fully complete our basic
curriculum, along with the required ministerial and character references, will
be granted Union ministerial recognition. All applicants for ministerial
recognition with the Union will have their application personally reviewed by
The Union's Board of Rabbis, after a 2-year probationary period.
- The UONYC still welcomes leaders not requesting Union ministerial
recognition who may still join the Union without seeking ministerial
recognition.
- The UONYC maintains that born again men may be congregational leaders if
they are single or married. If married the wife must be of like mind in the
things of the Nazarene Yisraelite faith. Born again women may only lead a
congregation with their husbands as a team, while both must be of like mind in
the Nazarene Yisraelite faith.
- The UONYC maintains that single women after 11/4/03 will not be allowed
as congregational overseers. Single women prior to 11/4/03 may maintain their
UONYC status. Women can still seek non-pastoral ordination if submitted to a
local UONYC shepherd.
- A UONYC congregational or group leader cannot hold membership or
affiliation in a Yahshua denying Jewish synagogue of any persuasion, or a Sunday
assembly that dishonors Torah, while in leadership in a UONYC group or
congregation.
- The UONYC holds fast to the truth that the seventh day of the week
(Saturday) is the correct, true and eternal Shabbat of YHWH. It has never
changed from the dawn of creation. It is a miqra qodesh/holy convocation
and one is obligated to meet with other believers on that day in set-apart
assembly.
- The UONYC and its member affiliates reject the Lunar Shabbat, an
unscriptural theory easily disproven as unscriptural. Member congregations
are expected to reject it likewise.
- The UONYC and its member affiliates hold that all seven moadim/feasts of
YHWH should be observed by the entire body of Moshiach, in the love and
unity according to the established rabbinical calendar for all Yisraelites.
Moshiach Yahshua while on earth did likewise. We reject all pagan holidays
and rites that involve any and all other forms of religious observance, or
methods of reckoning of the moadim, or seasons. Member congregations should
be in agreement with the fact that Yahudah has been entrusted with these
oracles (Romiyah, Romans 3:2, Devarim/Deut. 17:8-13) by YHWH.
- UONYC congregations and groups may hold dual affiliation with other
like-minded organizations. However holding such dual affiliation will forego the
rights of any UONYC leader or minister to teach or minister at UONYC conferences
and meetings.
- UONYC member assemblies will give financial assistance, as they are led
and burdened to assist. While there will be no tithing or fees mandated, every
member group should try to set aside funds for the growth and restoration of the
two houses and our common goals. Local congregations should attempt to assist in
special needs that may arise, when asked to help. First Cor. 9:9-11
- The UONYC Board of Rabbis is completely opposed to any sects of
White-Aryan Ephraim-Yisraelitism, or anything remotely anti-Jewish,
anti-Yisrael, anti-Zionist or that can be construed as being anti-Semitic. Most
British Yisrael groups are considered outside the realm of membership for some
of the same reasons mentioned above. Yisrael is Joseph’s coat of many colors and
many races and Yisrael has always been a mixed multitude of color. Yisrael today
can found in all nations, colors and races. No racist doctrine such as black
Yisraelites or white Yisraelites “only” identity doctrines will be allowed or
tolerated.
- In summary we, the Union Board of Rabbis, as the assigned and authorized
overseers of the Union of Nazarene Yisraelite Congregations, have renounced
anti-Yahshua deniers that may be hidden within our Union who refuse to live by
Torah honesty. Indeed, we do not walk in craftiness or defraud the word of YHWH.
We refuse to make use of shameful underhanded methods, employing deception or
distorting the truth of the deity/divinity/divine nature of Moshiach Yahshua. On
the contrary, we proclaim and make clear this truth to our membership and
all others in the sight of Abba, Yahweh.
